The following list is a collection of pellet data that I have colected from numerious sources, including the web, magazines, manafacturers data etc. I would be happy to receive additional data or corrections to this information.
All weights are in grains.
To convert from grams to grains multiply by 15.432
To convert from grains to grams multiply by 0.065
The basic formula to calculate the energy (in foot-pounds) of a pellet is:
(Velocity x Velocity x pellet weight) / 450240
Where Velocity is measured in feet per second, and pellet weight is in grains.
